48. Remove the lift plate (Fig. 0310).

49. Repeat steps 46 and 47 on the other side of the
engine base.
50. Remove the rear cross shaft assembly from the
engine base (Fig. 0311).

51. 2009 only: Remove the hairpin cotter and washer
securing the front ends of the shifter links to the
shifter bracket (Fig. 0312).

52. 2010 only: Remove the bolts, nuts, washers and
spacers securing the front end of the shifter links to
the shifter bracket (Fig. 0313).
