10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 to remove the battery hold
down on the other side of the battery cover.
11. Remove the battery cover (Fig. 1467).
13. Slide the red boot off the positive (red) battery
terminal. Remove the positive (red) battery cable
from the positive (+) battery terminal (Fig. 1469).

12. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the
negative (-) battery terminal (Fig. 1468).

14. Remove the battery (Fig. 1470).
