5. Remove the RH and LH carriage bolts, washers,
spacers, and nuts securing the platform to the carrier
frame (Fig. 0121).
6. Remove the carriage bolts, friction washers, spacers
and nuts securing the LH and RH pad links to the
platform (Fig. 0122).
7. Remove the knob from the platform latch pin (Fig.
0123).

8. Remove the latch pin and spring from the platform
(Fig. 0124).
