21. Insert a carriage bolt through the pad link assembly
(Fig. 0144).
22. Position the spacer over the carriage bolt and into
the friction washer and lower hinge bracket (Fig.
0145).
23. Secure the assembly with a nut and washer (Fig.
0146).

24. Repeat steps 19 through 23 on the other side of the
machine.
25. Raise the operator cushion assembly into the oper-
ating position and secure with the hairpin cotters and
slide bushings (Fig. 0147).
