1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.Lowerthecuttingunits,stoptheengine,
engagetheparkingbrakeandremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
2.ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinGeneralPrecautionsfor
RemovingandInstallingtheHydraulicSystemComponents(page4–71).
3.Ensurethatthemowermanifoldiscleanbeforeyouremovethespoolvalve
fromthemanifold.
4.Removethespoolvalve:
A.Removethebacklapswitchfromthemanifoldbeforeremovingthespool
valve.Removethedowelpinandtheballfromthemanifoldportafterthe
switchisremoved.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ringfromtheswitch.
B.Removethelowerretainingringfromthespoolvalve.Raisethespoolto
allowaccesstotheretainingringontheupperendofthespool.Remove
theupperretainingring.
C.PushthespooldownuntilthelowerO-ringandtheback-upringare
exposedonthebottomofthemanifold.RemovethelowerO-ringand
theback-upringfromthespool.
D.Pullthespoolupandoutofthemanifold.RemovetheO-ringsandthe
back-upringfromthespool.
E.DiscardtheremovedO-ringsandtheback-uprings.
