TestingaFuse
1.TurnthekeyswitchtotheRUNposition(donotstarttheengine).
2.Withthefuseinstalledinthefuseblock,useamultimetertocheckthat12
VDCexistsatbothoftheterminaltestpointsonthefuse.If12VDCexistsat
1ofthefusetestpointsbutnotattheother,thefuseisdamaged.
3.Ifthefuseremovalisnecessary,ensurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFF
positionandthekeyisremovedfromthekeyswitch.Removethefuse
fromthefuseblockandcheckthatthefusehascontinuityacrossthefuse
terminals.
4.Ifthefusetestscorrectlyandacircuitproblemstillexists,checkthewire
harnesses;refertoAppendixA(pageA–1).
