1.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFposition.
2.Disconnecttheground(-)cablefromthebatteryterminalrst,then
disconnectthepositive(+)cablefromthebatteryterminal.
3.Chargethebatteryfullybeforestorage;refertoChargingtheBattery(page
5–35).
4.Storethebatteryintheappropriateenvironment:
Iftemperaturesareexpectedtodropbelowfreezingforanextended
period,removethebatteryfromthemachineandstorethebatteryona
shelfinanenvironmentabovefreezing.
Iftemperaturesareexpectedtoremainabovefreezing,youmayleavethe
batteryonthemachinewiththebatterycablesdisconnected.
