1.Ifrubberbushingwasremovedfromeithersideplate,applygreaseto
outsidesurfaceofnewbushingandinstallintosideplate.Thebushingshould
beinstalledushwiththeinsidesurfaceofthesideplate;refertoFigure111.
2.Ifremoved,installthenylonbushingswithangefacingoutward.
3.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothethreadsandshankofeachbedbarpivot
bolt;refertoFigure111.
CAUTION
Contactwiththereel,bedknifeorothercuttingunitpartscanresult
inpersonalinjury.Useheavygloveswhenhandlingthebedbar.
Note:Ifanewbedknifeisattachedtothebedbar,theremaybeinterference
betweenthebedknifeandthereelwheninstallingthebedbar.Turnthe
bedbaradjustingscrewscounterclockwisetoincreasebedknifeclearance
ifnecessary.
4.Positionthebedbarintothecuttingunit.Makesurethatthetopofeach
bedbararmisbetweenthewasher(item11inFigure110)andadjuster
screwange.
IMPORTANT
Wheninstallingthewashers,makesurethattheplasticwashersare
positionedagainstthesideplate.
5.Slideonemetalwasherandthenoneplasticwasherontoeachbedbarpivot
bolt.
6.Positiononeplasticwasherbetweenthebedbarandeachsideplate.
