DriveandSupportComponents
1.Disassembletherollerbrushcomponentsasnecessary.Retrieveand
discardthedriveplateO-ring.
2.Cleanandinspectallcomponentsforwearordamageandreplaceas
necessary.
3.Installthepulleydriver(machineswithoutabeltdrivengroomer)andtighten
to136N∙m(100ft-lb).Installtheweight.
Note:Thescrewsusedtosecurethecover,drivenpulleyandthefrontof
thedriveplatehavealockingfeaturetopreventthescrewsfromloosening.
Iftheoriginalscrewsarebeingre-used,applyamediumstrengththread
locker(Loctite#242orequivalent).
4.InstallandapplyalightcoatingofgreasetoanewdriveplateO-ringand
installthedriveplate.
5.Installtherollerbrushwiththebearingsandlockingcollarslooseonthe
brushshaft.
6.Installthedrivenpulleyandkey.Tightentheangeheadscrewfrom15to
16N∙m(130to140in-lb).
7.Installthebrushsupport.
8.Installthedrivepulley.Applyanti-seizelubricantthecapscrewthreadsand
tightenfrom8to9N∙m(70to80in-lb).
