reelshaft.

Inspectthegroomerreelbladesfrequentlyforanydamageandwear.Straighten
thebentblades.Eitherreplacethewornbladesorreversetheindividual
bladestoputthesharpestbladeedgeforward.Thebladesthatareroundedto
themidpointofthebladetipmustbereversedorreplacedforbestgroomer
performance:refertoFigure146.
1.Parkthemachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits
completelytotheground,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
2.Removethegroomerreelfromthecuttingunit;refertoRemovingthe
GroomerReel(page8–16).
3.Removethelocknutfromeitherendofthegroomerreelshaft.
4.Removethebladesandfromthegroomershaft.Ifnecessary,remove
secondlocknutfromtheshaft.
5.Inspectandreplacewornordamagedcomponents.
6.Assemblethegroomerreelasfollows:
