Removethegroomerreeltoreplaceindividualgroomerbladesorreplacethe
shaft.Thegroomerreelcanbereversedtoprovideadditionalbladelife.
RemovingtheGroomerReel
1.Parkthemachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits
completelytotheground,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
CAUTION
Contactwiththereelorothercuttingunitpartscanresultinpersonal
injury.
Useheavygloveswhenhandlingthegroomerreel.
2.Carefullyremovethe4jamnuts,4bolts,and4shaftclampsthatsecurethe
groomerreeltotheoutputandstubshafts.
3.Liftthegroomerreelfromthecuttingunit.
4.Inspecttheshields,stubshaft,drivenshaftandshaftbearingsforwearor
damageandreplacecomponentsasnecessary;refertoTheGearBox
