InstallingtheFuelTank
IMPORTANT
Afterfueltankisinstalled,makesurethatclearancebetweenfuel
tankandhydraulictankisfrom3.2to9.5mm(0.125to0.375inches).
1.Securethefueltanktothevehicleframe:
A.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothethreadsofthefour(4)capscrews.
B.Installthecapscrewsthroughthefuelhoseclamps,theatwashersand
thebushings.Makesurethebushingsarebetweentheatwashers
andtheframe.
C.Tightenthecapscrewsfrom3.4to6.7N∙m(30to60in-lb).
2.Connectthefuelhosetothefuelshut-offvalveandsecurewiththehose
clamp.
3.Connecttheventhosetothetopofthefueltankandsecurewiththehose
clamp.Makesurethatthehoseisnotkinkedorobstructed.
4.Openthefuelshut-offvalveandllthefueltankwithfuel.
5.Checkthefuelsystemforleaksandrepairasnecessarybeforereturning
themachinetoservice.
