IMPORTANT
Makesuretonotdamageengine,fuelhoses,hydraulichoses,
electricalharnesses,controlcablesorotherpartswhileinstalling
theengine.
3.Movetheengineassemblyintopositionandlooselyinstallthethree(3)
enginemountcapscrews(item31Figure8)withatwashers,spacers
(bottomenginemountsonly)andangenuts.
4.Securethepumpassemblytotheadapterplatewithtwo(2)capscrews
andhardenedwashers.
5.Securethepumphubtothedrivecouplerwithtwo(2)spacers,capscrews
andatwashers.Ifpreviouslyremoved,tightenenginehubsetscrewsfrom
10to12N·m(90to110in-lb)atthistime.
6.Tightenthethree(3)enginemountcapscrews.
7.Connectandadjustthechokecontrolcableandthethrottlecontrolcable.
A.Setthechokecontrolattheoperatorcontrolpaneltothefullchoke
position,andsetthechokeleveratthecarburetortothefullclosed
positionbeforesecuringthechokecontrolcableclamp.
B.Setthethrottlecontrolattheoperatorcontrolpaneltothefastposition,
andsetthethrottlelinkageatthecarburetoragainstthehighspeedstop
beforesecuringthethrottlecontrolcableclamp.
8.Connecttheelectricalsystemwiringtotheengine:
•Theenginewireharnessconnectoratthemainwireharness
•Thebatteryground(-)cableneartheoillter
•Thebatterypositive(+)cableatthestarter
9.Connectthefuelevaporativesystemhoses(items13and14inFigure8)
totheengine
10.Installthefuelhoseandclamp(item2inFigure8).Openthefuelshut-off
valveandcheckfuelhoseforleaks.
11.Ensurethatallthehoses,tubes,andwiresareclearofmovingpartsand
securedtotheiroriginallocations.
12.Connectthenegative(-)batterycableatthebattery.
13.Checkengineoillevelandadjustifnecessary;refertotractionunitOperator’s
Manual.
14.Operatethemachineandcheckforproperoperation,hydraulicuidleaks
andfuelleaksbeforereturningthemachinetoservice.
