hydraulicuiddisplacedperminute
•GearPump(P1):100engineRPM=0.95LPM(0.25GPMor32.1oz.)of
hydraulicuiddisplacedperminute.
•GearPump(P2):100engineRPM=0.54LPM(0.14GPMor18.3oz.)of
hydraulicuiddisplacedperminute
6.Beforeyouperformatest,checkthetractioncontrolleverlinkagesfor
improperadjustment,binding,orbrokenparts.
7.Whenyouuseahydraulictester(pressureandow),ensurethattheinletand
outlethosesareproperlyconnectedandnotreversedtopreventdamaging
thehydraulictesterorcomponents.
8.Whenyouuseahydraulictester(pressureandow),openthetesterload
valvefullybeforeyoustarttheenginetoreducethepossibilityofdamaging
thecomponents.
9.Installthehydraulicttingsbyhandandensurethattheyarenot
cross-threadedbeforeyoutightenthemwithawrench.
10.Positionanytesthosesawayfrompartsthatmaymoveduringthetest
procedure.
11.Afteryouconnectthetestequipment,checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthe
hydraulictankandensurethattheuidleveliscorrect.
12.Performallthehydraulictestswiththehydraulicuidatnormaloperating
temperature.
13.Recordtheresultsofallhydraulictestsperformed.
HydraulicTestSelection
Beforebeginninganyhydraulictest,identifyiftheproblemisrelatedtothe
tractioncircuit,cutting(mow)circuitorsteeringandliftcircuit.Oncethefaulty
systemhasbeenidentied,performteststhatrelatetothatcircuit.
Ifatractioncircuitproblemexists,considerperformingoneormoreofthe
followingtests:ChargePressureTest,WheelMotorEfciencyTest,and/or
TractionPump(P1)FlowandReliefValveTests.
Ifacutting(mow)circuitproblemexists,considerperformingoneormoreofthe
followingtests:CircuitPressureTest,ReelMotorEfciency/CaseDrainT est,
ManifoldReliefPressureT est,and/orGearPump(P2)FlowT est.
Ifasteeringorliftcircuitproblemexists,considerperformingoneormoreofthe
followingtests:GearPump(P1)FlowT est,ReliefValvePressureTest,Lower
CuttingUnitsReliefValve(R2)PressureT est,and/orSteeringControlValveand
SteeringCylinderTest.
