6.Installtesterinserieswiththepumpandthedisconnectedhose.Makesure
thetesterisinstalledinthecorrectowdirectionandthetesterowcontrol
valveisfullyopen.
7.Disconnecthydrauliclinesfromfrontwheelmotorthatisnotbeingtested.
Capdisconnectedhydrauliclinesandplugportsinwheelmotortoprevent
contamination.
8.Chockfrontwheelbeingtestedtopreventwheelrotation.
9.Startengine.Movethrottletofullspeed(2850±50RPM).
10.Makesurehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperaturebyoperatingthe
machineforapproximately10minutes.
11.Verifyandrecordenginespeedwithaphototach.
CAUTION
Useextremecautionwhenperformingthistest.Thewheelmotor
beingtestedwillbetryingtomovethemachineforward.
12.Sitintheoperatorsseat,releasetheparkingbrake,andslowlydepress
forwardtractionpedaluntil6890to10340kPa(1000to1500PSI)is
displayedontheowmeterpressuregauge.Theowmetershouldread
lessthan2.4LPM(0.6GPM).
13.Releasetractionpedal,shutengineoff,andrecordtestresults.
14.Rotatethewheelmotorbeingtested90degreesandretest.
15.Rotatethewheelmotorbeingtested180degreesandretest.
16.Ifthewheelmotorallowsmorethanthespeciedow,thewheelmotoris
wornandshouldberepairedorreplaced.
17.Reconnecthydrauliclinestofrontwheelmotorandrepeatprocedurefor
remainingfrontwheelmotor.
18.Checkuidlevelinhydraulictankandadjustasnecessary;refertotraction
unitOperator’sManual.
