Thecuttingunitsareshippedwiththecounterweight
mountedtotheleftendandthemotormounttothe
rightendofthecuttingunit.T ochangethecuttingunit
todifferentpositions,proceedasfollows:
Important:Wheneveryouneedtotipthecutting
unitonitsside,ensurethatyoupropituptoavoid
damagingthebedbar-adjustingbolts;referto
SupportingtheCuttingUnit(page9)
1.Removethe2boltssecuringthecounterweight
totheleftendofthecuttingunit.Removethe
counterweight(Figure9).
2.Removethe2Allenheadboltssecuringthe
motormounttotheleftendofthecuttingunit.
Removethemotormount(Figure8).
3.Applygreasetotheinsidediameterofthedrive
spline(Figure8).
4.Ontheleftendofthecuttingunit,applyalight
coatingofoiltotheO-ringandinstallthemotor
mountwiththe2Allenheadboltspreviously
removed(Figure8).Torquetheboltsto16to
20N∙m(12to15ft-lb).
