6.Turntherotortoolshafttopushtherotorandcoverassemblyfromthe
housingassembly.Supporttherotortopreventitfromfallingduringremoval.
7.Removethemotorcoverandwavewasherfromtherotorassembly.
8.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ringsfromthemotorcover.
9.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ringfromthemotorhousing.
10.Ifnecessary,removeanddiscardthebearingsfromtherotor.
11.Inspectthe3WDtractionmotorcomponentsforwearordamage.Replace
componentsorcomplete3WDtractionmotorassemblyifnecessary.
AssemblingtheRearTractionMotor
RefertoFigure107orthisprocedure.
1.Makesurethatmotorcomponentsarecleanedbeforeassembly.
2.Ifthebearingswereremovedfromtherotor,installnewbearings.Makesure
thenewbearingsarefullypressedontotherotorshaft.
3.LubricateanewO-ringwithdielectriclubricantandinstallitintothegroove
inthehousingbearingbore.
