AdjustingtheTractionControl
Ifthetractioncontroldoesnotengageoritslipsduring
operation,anadjustmentisrequired.
1.MovethetractioncontroltotheDisengagedposition.
2.Checktoseeifthereisanyslackinthetractioncontrol
cableattheextensionspring(Figure45).Ifslack
exists,adjustthejamnutsatthebulkhead(Figure46)
toremovetheslackfromthecablewithoutextending
thespring.

remainingsteps.
4.Removethecotterpinandclevispinsecuringthebell
crankrodclevistothebellcranklever.Disconnectthe
clevisfromthebellcranklever(Figure46).

rodlength1.5mm(0.06inches).

7.Atthetransmissionbulkhead(Figure46),adjustthe
cablejamnutstodecreasethedistancetothebellcrank
toaccommodatethepreviouschange.
8.Adjustingthecableatthecontrolpanelbulkhead,
adjustthecablejamnutstoremoveanyslackinthe
cablewithoutextendingthespring(Figure45).
9.Checkthecontroloperationandreadjust,ifrequired.
