Jacking Instructions
CAUTION
When changing attachments, tires or perform-
ing other service, use correct jacks and sup-
ports. Make sure machine is parked on a solid,
level surface such as a concrete floor. Prior to
raising machine, remove any attachments that
may interfere withthe safeand properraising of
themachine.Alwayschockorblockwheels.Use
jackstands tosupportthe raisedmachine.If the
machine is not properly supported by jack
stands, the machine may move or fall, which
may result in personal injury.
Front End Jacking
1. Apply parking brake and chock rear tire to prevent
the machine from moving.
2. Position jacksecurelyunder theframejackingpoint:
A. The left side jacking point is the frame channel
under the step behind the LH front wheel (Fig. 1).
B. The r ight side jacking point is the frame bracket
behind the RH front wheel (Fig. 2).
3. Jack front of machine off the ground.
4. Position appropriate jack stands under the frame as
close to the wheel as possible to support the machine.
Rear End Jacking
1. Applyparkingbrakeandchockbothfronttirestopre-
vent the machine from moving.
2. Place jack securely under the rear jacking point on
the rear steering fork (Fig. 3).
3. Jack rear of machine off the ground.
4. Position appropriate jack stands under the frame to
support the machine.
