NOTE: Three (3) identical cutting unit suspension as-
semblies are usedon Greensmaster TriFlex machines.
The cutting unit attaches to the cross a rm assembly
which is attached to the frontofthe cutting unit suspen-
sion assembly. See Cutting Unit Suspension Crossarm
Assembly in this section for information regarding ser-
vice of the crossarm assembly.
Disassembly (Fig. 21)
1. Remove tension from s uspension c ounterbalance
assembly:
CAUTION
Be careful when removing tension from the sus-
pension counterbalance system. The counter-
balance spring is under heavy load and may
cause personal injury.
A. Remove cotter pin from clevis pin that secures
counterbalance tensioner arm.
