2.Checktheuidlevelaccordingtothetankon
yourmachine:
•Ifyourtankhasasightwindow,checktheoil
levelthereandproceedtostep5.
•Ifyourtankdoesnothaveasightwindow,
locatethedipstickonthetopofthehydraulic
tankandproceedtostep3.
3.Removethedipstickandwipeitwithaclean
rag,thenscrewthedipstickbackintothetank.
4.Removethedipstickandchecktheuidlevel.If
theuidisbetweenthemarksonthedipstick,
thelevelissufcient.Ifthelevelisnotbetween
themarks,moreuidisneeded.
5.Removethecapordipstick(dependingonyour
machine)fromthehydraulicuidtankandslowly
llthetankwiththeappropriatehigh-quality
hydraulicuiduntilthelevelisbetweenthe2
linesonthesightwindowor2marksonthe
dipstick.
6.Installthecapordipstickandwipeupanyuid
thatmayhavespilled.
Important:Checkthelevelofthehydraulic
uidbeforetheengineisrststartedand
dailythereafter.
ChangingtheHydraulicFluidand
Filter
ServiceInterval:Every800hours—Ifyouarenot
usingtherecommendedhydraulic
uidorhaveeverlledthereservoir
withanalternativeuid,change
thehydraulicuid,lter,andtank
breather.
Every1,000hours—Ifyouareusingthe
recommendedhydraulicuid,changethe
hydraulic-uidlter.
Every2,000hours—Ifyouareusingthe
recommendedhydraulicuid,changethe
hydraulicuid.
HydraulicFluidCapacity:25.7L(6.8USgallons)
Iftheuidbecomescontaminated,haveyour
authorizedTorodistributorushthesystem.
Contaminateduidlooksmilkyorblackwhen
comparedtocleanuid.
1.Cleantheareaaroundtheltermountingarea
(Figure44).Placeadrainpanunderthelter
andremovethelter.
