Testing
Note:BeforedisconnectingthePTOswitchfortesting,theswitchandits
circuitwiringshouldbetestedasaTECelectricalinputusingtheInfoCenter
Display(seeInfoCenterDisplay(page6–8)).Ifinputtestingveriesthatthe
PTOswitchandcircuitwiringarefunctioningcorrectly,nofurtherPTOswitch
testingisnecessary.If,however,inputtestingdeterminesthatthePTOswitch
andcircuitwiringarenotfunctioningcorrectly,proceedwiththefollowingPTO
switchtestingprocedure.
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,lowercuttingdecks,engageparkingbrake
andstopengine.Removekeyfromignitionswitch.
2.RemoveconsolearmcoverstogainaccesstoPTOswitch(seeConsole
Arm(page8–10)).
3.DisconnectwireharnesselectricalconnectorfromthePTOswitch.
