Ensurethattheair-conditioningscreenisclean.
Ensurethattheair-conditioning-condenserns
areclean.
Operatetheair-conditionerbloweratthe
mid-speedsetting.
Ensurethatthereisacontinuoussealbetweenthe
roofandtheheadlinerandcorrectitasneeded.
Measuretheairtemperatureatthefront,center
ventintheheadliner.Thisshouldtypicallystabilize
atlessthanorequalto10°C(50°F).

Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovementtostopbeforeyouleavethe
operatorsposition.Allowthemachinetocool
beforeadjusting,servicing,cleaning,orstoringit.
Cleangrassanddebrisfromthecuttingunits,
mufers,andenginecompartmenttohelpprevent
res.Cleanupoilorfuelspills.
Ifthecuttingunitsareinthetransportposition,use
thepositivemechanicallock(ifavailable)before
youleavethemachineunattended.
Allowtheenginetocoolbeforestoringthemachine
inanyenclosure.
Removethekeyandshutoffthefuel(ifequipped)
beforestoringorhaulingthemachine.
Neverstorethemachineorfuelcontainerwhere
thereisanopename,spark,orpilotlight,such
asonawaterheateroronotherappliances.
Maintainandcleantheseatbelt(s)asnecessary
