viscositygrades.SeethePartsCatalogforpart
numbers.
CheckingtheEngine-OilLevel
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Theengineisshippedwithoilinthecrankcase;
however,theoillevelmustbecheckedbeforeand
aftertheengineisrststarted.
Important:Checktheengineoildaily.Ifthe
engine-oillevelisabovetheFullmarkonthe
dipstick,theengineoilmaybedilutedwithfuel;
IftheengineoillevelisabovetheFullmark,
changetheengineoil.
Thebesttimetochecktheengineoiliswhenthe
engineiscoolbeforeithasbeenstartedfortheday.
Ifithasalreadybeenrun,allowtheoiltodrainback
downtothesumpforatleast10minutesbefore
checking.IftheoillevelisatorbelowtheAddmark
onthedipstick,addoiltobringtheoilleveltotheFull
mark.Donotoverlltheenginewithoil.
Important:Keeptheengine-oillevelbetweenthe
upperandlowerlimitsonthedipstick;theengine
mayfailifyourunitwithtoomuchortoolittleoil.
