12.Removethe2boltsand2lockwashersthatsecurethegearpumptothe
transmission,andremovethegearpumpfromthetransmission.
13.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ring(item3inFigure117).
14.Locateandremovethecouplerfromthetransmissionorgearpumpshaft.
15.Ifnecessary,removethehydraulicttingsfromthepump.
16.RemoveanddiscardtheO-ringsfromthettings.
InstallingtheGearPump
1.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromthepump,lubricateandinstall
newO-ringsontothettings.Tightenthettingstothetorquespecications
identiedinFigure117;refertoInstallingtheHydraulicFittings(SAEStraight
ThreadO-RingFittingintotheComponentPort)(page4–7).
2.Slidethecouplerontothetransmissionshaft.LubricatetheO-ring(item
3inFigure117)withgreaseandinstalltheO-ringontotheangeofthe
gearpump.
