RefertoFigure171toidentifyeachindividualfuseanditscorrectamperagein
thefuseblock.Thefuseshavethefollowingfunctions.
ThefuseF1(15A)protectspowersupplyforthekeyswitchcircuitsandoptional
lightkit.
ThefuseF2(10A)protectstheSCMstartcircuit.
ThefuseF3(10A)protectstheSCMpower,hourmeter,InfoCenter,andparking
brakesensor.
ThefuseF4(2A)protectspowersupplyfortheSCMlogic.
TestingtheFuses
TurnthekeyswitchtotheRUNposition(donotstarttheengine).Withthefuse
installedinthefuseblock,useamultimetertocheckthat12VDCexistsatboth
oftheterminaltestpointsonthefuse.If12VDCexistsat1ofthefusetestpoints
butnotattheother,thefuseisdamaged.
Ifthefuseremovalisnecessary,ensurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFposition
andthekeyisremovedfromthekeyswitch.Removethefusefromthefuse
blockandcheckthatthefusehascontinuityacrossthefuseterminals.
