Youcanreplaceahydraulicsolenoidvalvecoilonthedeckliftmanifold(Figure
182)withoutopeningthehydraulicsystem.
RemovingtheLiftControlManifoldSolenoidValveCoils
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,settheparking
brake,shutofftheengine,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Locatethesolenoidvalvecoilthatyoureplace.
3.Raisetheoperatorseattogetaccesstothedeckliftmanifold(Figure182)
forthelocationofsolenoidcoilsonthedeckliftmanifold.
4.Disconnectthewireharnesselectricalconnectorfromthesolenoidvalve
coilthatyoureplace.
5.Removethenutfromthehydraulicvalve.
6.Slidethesolenoidcoilfromthevalve.
7.Cleananycorrosionordirtfromthevalve.
InstallingtheLiftControlManifoldSolenoidValveCoils
1.Slidethecoilassemblyontothehydraulicvalve.
2.Installthenutontothevalveandtorquethenutto6.8N∙m(5ft-lb).
Note:Donotovertightenthenut.
3.Connectthemachinewireharnessconnectortothesolenoidcoil.
4.Lowerandsecuretheseat.
