1.RemovethePTOdriveshaftfromthemachine;refertoRemovingthePTO
Driveshaft(page6–25).
IMPORTANT
Whenyouplacetheyokeinavise,clamplightlyonthesolidpartof
theyoketopreventdamage.Useaviseequippedwithsoftjaws.
2.Lightlyclamptheyokeinavise.Usethe2screwdriverstoremovethe4
snapringsthatattachthebearingsattheinsideofeachyoke.Removethe
yokefromthevise.
IMPORTANT
Supporttheyokeswhenremovingandinstallingthebearingsto
preventdamage.
3.Useapresstoremovethecrossandbearingsfromtheyokes,dothe
followingsteps:
A.Placeasmallsocketagainst1bearingandalargesocketagainstthe
yokeontheoppositeside.
B.Whileyousupportthelargesocket,applypressureonsmallsocketto
partiallypushtheoppositebearingintothelargesocket.
C.Removetheyokefromthepress,holdthepartiallyremovedbearingand
tapontheyoketocompletelyremovethebearing.
D.Repeattheprocessfortheremainingbearings.
E.Cleanandinspectallthecomponents.
