Aligntheengineoutputshaftwiththeblowershaftiftheengine,blowerdrive
shaft,orblowerassemblyisremoved.
1.Thefastenerssecuringtheenginetothechassisshouldbeinstallednger
tight.
2.Ensureawoodruffkeyisinstalledintheengineshaftandtheblowershaft.
3.FitonecollaroftheShaftAlignmentT ool(Toropartnumber137–6616)over
theblowershaftandkey;refertoShaftAlignmentT ool(page2–13).
4.Movetheengineinitsmountingslotsifnecessaryandttheothercollarof
thetoolovertheengineshaftandkey.
5.Movetheengineinitsmountingslotsifnecessaryandsettheshafttoshaft
distancebyextendingthetoolfully.Twistbothcollarstolockthetoolinthe
extendedposition.
6.Movetheengineinitsmountingslotsifnecessaryuntileachendofthetool
tssquarelyonthetaperedshaftsandkeys.
7.Tightentheenginemountingfastenersto37to44N·m(27to33ft-lb).
8.Retractbothalignmenttoolcollarsandremovethealignmenttool.
