1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutofftheengine,andremovethekey
fromthekeyswitch.Blockthewheelswithchockstopreventthemachine
frommoving.
2.Removethetopgrill.
3.Disconnectthenegativebatterycablefromthebatteryterminal;referto
ServicingtheBattery(page5–37).
CAUTION
Ahotengineandexhaustsystemcancauseburns.
Allowtheengineandtheexhaustsystemtocoolbeforeremoving
theengine.
4.Disconnectthefuelsupplyhoseatthefuelpump.Coverorplugthe
disconnectedhoseandthefuelpumpinlettopreventfuelsystem
contamination.
