Whentheleftsideofthenozzledirectionswitchispressedandheld,thenozzle
rotatesinthecounterclockwisedirection.Whentherightsideofthenozzle
directionswitchispressedandheld,thenozzlerotatesintheclockwisedirection.
Thenozzledirectionswitchislocatedonthetethercontrolbox.
TestingtheNozzleDirectionSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandstoptheengine.
2.Disconnectthebatterynegative(-)cableatthebattery.
3.Removethetethercontrolboxcoveranddisconnectthewireharness
connectorfromtheswitch.Removetheswitchfromthecontrolboxif
necessary.
4.Useamultimeter(ohmssetting)andtheprecedingtabletodetermine
whethercontinuityexistsbetweenthevariousterminalsforeachswitch
position.
5.Replacetheswitchifnecessary.
6.Iftheswitchtestscorrectlyandacircuitproblemstillexists,checkthewire
harness;refertoAppendixA(pageA–1).
7.Installtheswitchandconnectthewireharnessaftertesting.
8.Connectthebatterynegative(-)cableatthebattery.
