Pump Relief Valves (Fig. 34)
1. Remove plug ,then slide the spring and poppet out of
the housing.
IMPORTANT: Do not interchange parts between
charge and implement relief valves. Do not alter
shims unless adjusting pressure setting of valve.
2. Inspect the poppet and seat in housing for damage
and remove any foreign material in the valve area.
3. Replace parts as required and reinstall into housing
bore.
