Glow Plugs (Reelmaster 216-D only)
Check for continuity between plug terminal and body. If
there is no continuity, heat wire in glow plug is broken.
Measure resistance between plug terminal and ground.
Resistance should be 1.6 ± 0.16 OHM. Resistance of 0
indicates a short circuit.
Battery (Fig. 17, 18)
Use a hydrometer to test the battery. Charge the battery
if necessary (see Battery Service).
Electrolyte specific gravity
Fully charged: 1.250 - 1.280
Discharged: less than 1.240
