Important:Thefastenersonthecoversofthis
machinearedesignedtoremainonthecoverafter
removal.Loosenallfastenersoneachcoverafew
turnssothatthecoverisloosebutstillattached,
thengobackandloosenthemuntilthecover
comesfree.Thispreventsyoufromaccidentally
strippingtheboltsfreeoftheretainers.
RemovingtheFrontCover
Important:Thefastenersonthecoversofthis
machinearedesignedtoremainonthecoverafter
removal.Loosenallfastenersoneachcoverafew
turnssothatthecoverisloosebutstillattached,
thengobackandloosenthemuntilthecover
comesfree.Thispreventsyoufromaccidentally
strippingtheboltsfreeoftheretainers.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,andlowerthegrinder.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andallow
theenginetocool.
WARNING
Ifthemachinehasbeenrunning,both
thecoverandthemuferunderthecover
willbehotandcancausesevereburns
ifyoutouchthem.
Allowthemachinetocoolbefore
removingthecover.
3.Removethefrontboltandloosethenleftbolt
securingthefrontcovertothemachine(Figure
24).

5.Toinstallthefrontcover,slidethefrontcoverinto
placeandsecureitwiththe2bolts(Figure24).

theparkingbrake(ifapplicable),andlowerthe
grinder.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
