23. Remove the nut securing the left side of the brake
shaft to the transmission and frame (Fig. 428).
21. Repeat steps 19 and 20 to remove the left side
spring anchor plate.
22. Remove the nut securing the right side of the brake
shaft to the transmission and frame (Fig. 427).
