seated.
Note:Gentlytapdrivertoavoiddamagingthebearingduringinstall.
3.Rotatespindleassemblyandinstallthebearingspacer.
4.Usinganappropriatebearingdriver,installtheremainingbearinguntilseated.
5.Placethebottombearingguardontothespindleshaft.
6.Installthespindleshaftintothehousing.
Note:Verifyproperorientationofthespindle.
7.Placetheupperbearingguardontothespindleshaft.
8.Placethepulleyontothespindleshaft.
9.Installthenut.Torquenutto130-176N•m(130-160ft-lb).
10.Rotatethespindleshaftinhousingtoverifyoperation.
11.Placethehousingringontothespindlestuds(ifapplicable).
12.Placethespindlehousingintothedeck.
13.Installthe6(3/8inch)angelocknutstothestuds.Torquelocknuts38-44
N•m(27–33ft-lb).
14.Installthebeltguidebracket(ifapplicable).
15.Installthehexbladedriverintotheblade.
16.Installthebladeanddrivertothespindle.Torqueto68-81N•m(50-60ft-lb).
17.Installthedeckbelt.DeckBeltReplacement(page6–4)
18.Startthemowerandengagethedeckseveraltimetoensureproper
operation.
