Adjusting the Height of Cut
For Machines with a Deck-Lift
Pedal
Using the T ransport Lock
1. Push the deck-lift pedal fully forward to lock the
mower deck in the T RANSPORT position ( Figure
30 ).
2. Push the deck-lift pedal forward and push the
transport lock forward to the U NLOCK position,
then slowly lower the mower deck. ( Figure 30 ).

Adjusting the Height-of-Cut Pin
Y ou can adjust the height of cut from 38 to 140 mm
(1-1/2 to 5-1/2 inches) in 6 mm (1/4 inch) increments
by relocating the clevis pin into dif ferent hole locations.
1. Push the deck-lift pedal fully forward to lock the
mower deck in the T RANSPORT position (also the
140 mm/5-1/2 inches cutting height position) as
shown in Figure 31 .
2. T o adjust, remove the pin from the height-of-cut
bracket ( Figure 31 ).
3. Select a hole in the height-of-cut bracket
corresponding to the height of cut desired, and
insert the pin ( Figure 31 ).
4. Push the deck-lift pedal forward, push the
transport lock forward, and slowly lower the
mower deck.
