Parking Brake Switch
The parking brake switch is a single pole plunger type switch (Figure 10 and 11) (normally open) with two
terminals. When the plunger is depressed (parking brake ON), the circuit closes and there is continuity between
the terminals. This allows battery voltage to flow to the rest of the safety interlock system.
Parking Brake ON, the switch should have continuity (closed).
Parking Brake OFF, the switch should NOT have continuity (open).
