beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch(PTO),andengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Allowtheengineandthehydraulicsystemto
coolfor10minutes.
Note:Theoillevelonthedipstickisincorrect
whentheoilischeckedandthemachineishot.
4.Movetheseatforward.
5.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksof
hydraulic-systemreservoirs(Figure99).
6.Remove1dipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir
(Figure99).
7.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickinto
thereservoir.
8.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure
99).
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulic
unitswithuid,asdamagemayoccur.Do
notrunthemachinewithuidbelowtheadd
mark.
9.Iftheuidlevelisattheaddmark,slowlypour
onlyenoughuidintothehydraulicreservoirto
raisetheleveltothefullorHline.
10.Installthedipstick.
11.Repeattheprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.
