2. Remove bottom seal and tapered roller bearing (Fig.
013).

1. Remove the top tapered roller bearing (Fig. 012).

4. With a driver and hammer, install new bearing
cups. The bearing cups are tapered; make sure the
tapered/thicker end of the cup is installed inward for
the top and bottom end (Fig. 015). Tap the bearing
cups in until they seat against the step in the caster
hub.

3. With a driver and hammer, remove both the bottom
and top tapered bearing cups (Fig. 014).
