Remove the 4 bolts holding the oil cooler and
position the oil cooler to the side (Figure 61).
Remove the 2 bolts holding the fan and fan
plate to the machine (Figure 61)•

Install the fan and fan plate to the machine with
the 2 bolts previously removed (Figure 61)•
Install the oil cooler with the 4 bolts previously
removed (Figure 61)•
Install the oil cooler shield and engine straps
to the rear frame with the 4 bolts previously
removed (Figure 60).
Install the engine straps to the side of the
machine (Figure 60).
Tighten the bottom bolt and install the
upper bolt holding the alternator and cover
(Figure 62).
Tensioning the Alternator Belt
1. Place a handle bew<en the alternator and
cylinder block.

Adjust the alternator to the outside until
there is 1/4 to 11/32 inch (7 to 9 ram)
deflection in the belt behveen the engine and
the alternator pulleys with 22.1 lbs of force (10
kgt) (Figure 62).
3. Tighten the alternator bolts.
4. Check the deflection in the belt again and
adjust the belt if needed.
5. If the deflection is correct, tighten the bottom
and upper bolt (Figure 62).

T. Loosen the bottom bolt and remove the
upper bolt holding the alternator and cover
(Figure 62).
8. Rotate the alternator cover to the side and
remove the belt from the pulleys and alternator•
9. Install a new belt around the pulleys and the
alternator (Figure 62)•
