Manual tuning
Usually the Auto Tuning stores all available stations in the reception area. If some stations have
poor reception, they may not be stored - however, you can store these manually if you wish.
Example: Preset the ZDF on program position 2.
Preparation:
Select program position 2.

Press MENU, the menu will appear
on the screen.
Press
or to select
(SETUP) menu.

selected for use in UK.

Notes:
Select L/L’ when you receive a SECAM broadcast.
If you select AUTO, SECAM broadcast cannot be
received.
Sometimes when AUTO is selected no sound is output. If
this happens select an option other than AUTO.

Press or to select SEARCH,
then press ENTER.
Press
. The auto search begins.
It will stop at each station that has
a good enough reception. Press
again until you receive a clear ZDF
picture, then press ENTER.
If you want to stop the search
manually, press ENTER while the
frequencies is countinig up.

The auto search should find the best
reception automatically, so fine tuning
is not normally necessary. However
if you want to you can fine tune the
reception manually…

or to tune the receivable
frequencies depending on TV norm,
installation site, and range, then press
ENTER.

Repeat the steps 3 and 6 to preset other TV stations.

Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.
