Playback Function
Depending on the disc and conditions, some of
these functions may not be available.
Pausing
Press PAUSE

• To resume normal playback, press PLAY .
Fast-Forward/Fast-Reverse
During playback, press FF
(fast-forward)
or REV (fast-reverse).

• Pressing the button repeatedly changes the
speed.
• Sound is muted.
• To resume normal playback, press PLAY .
Frame by Frame playback
During playback, press PAUSE

SKIP .
Slow Motion
During playback, press PAUSE

and hold SKIP for two seconds or more.

speed.

Skipping Chapters or Tracks
Press SKIP
(forward) or SKIP (re-
verse) repeatedly.

SKIP : to skip to the next chapter/track/le.
SKIP
: to return to the beginning of the
current chapter/track/le. To skip to
preceding chapter/track/le, press
this button repeatedly.
Playing BD-R/RE, DVD±R/RW
Steps for playing of the following discs:
BD-R, BD-RE:
Discs recorded on recording devices such as
Blu-ray Disc™ recorders
(Format: BDAV, BDMV)
DVD±R, DVD±RW:
Discs recorded on recording devices such as
DVD recorders
Press TV/DISC on the remote control to
select Disc mode.
Load a disc.
A title list is displayed automatically.
Depending on the disc type, “Folder_1”
may appear. In this case, press .

Returning to a Title List
During playback, press TOP MENU.
To open a title list in stop mode, rst press
PLAY
then TOP MENU.
NOTE: To play DVD±R/RW recorded in Video
mode or AVCHD mode, follow the
same step as “Playing Discs on the
Market” (page 57).
