Connecting two VCRs
This connection allows you to record (dub/edit) from one VCR to
another VCR while watching a videotape. You can also record from
one TV channel while watching another TV channel.
You will need:
two coaxial cables (one or more may be provided by your cable
company)
two sets of standard A/V cables
VCR1
From Antenna
TV
VCR2
Connecting a camcorder
This connection allows you to watch video materials recorded on a
camcorder.
You will need:
one set of standard A/V cables
Note:
Ifyou have S-VHS VCRs,useS-video cables
insteadof standard videocables for better
picture performance. Do not connect both a
standard video cableand anS-video cable to
Video-1(or Video-2) at the sametime, or the
picture performance will be unacceptable.
Do not connect the same VCRto the output
and inputjacks on the TVat the sametime.
Todub or edit, VCR2 mustselect Line IN,
and the TVmust select VIDEO ] (see
"Selectingthe antennainput" on page 20).
* TheVideoOUTjack doesnot output the
PIPpicture.
** TheAudio OUTjacks can output the sound
of either the Main or PIPpicture (see
"Selectingthe Audio OUTsound" onpage
47).

Camcorder
Note:
If you have anS-VHS camcorder,usean
S-video cablebetween the S-videojacks on
the camcorder and TVinsteadof a standard
video cable. Do not connect botha standard
video cable and anS-video cableat the same
time, or the pictureperformance will be
unacceptable.
