4. Copy the downloaded “firmware.bin” file from your Windows PC or Mac to
the root directory of the Canvio AeroCast”.
(e.g. (TOSHIBA_EXT) E:\firmware.bin)
5. After file copy is completed, execute safety remove the drive.
e.g. In case of Windows PC, click the Safety Remove Hardware icon on the
taskbar, and select the “TOSHIBA EXT”.
e.g. In case of Mac, drag the “TOSHIBA EXT” icon on the desktop to the
Trash.
6. Unplug the Canvio AeroCast from your Windows PC or Mac.
7. Plug the AC adapter to a power outlet, then plug the USB cable from AC
adapter to the Canvio AeroCast.
