STEP 3: Charge your CANVIO AeroCast before use
STEP 4: Uploading content
With the CANVIO AeroCast powered o , connect to the computer with the
included USB3.0 cable. You can now drag and drop content to and from the
product.
Mac users please install the Tuxera NTFS for Mac software (included).
This drive is formatted by NTFS for Windows®. In case for use both
Windows® PC and Mac, by installing “ Tuxera NTFS for Mac” to Mac, user
can read and write data both Windows® PC and Mac. But in this case, user
cannot use the Time Machine function of OS X.
STEP 5: Accessing your CANVIO AeroCast
You can access CANVIO AeroCast from your mobile devices via the Toshiba
apps.
Please download the app called “Toshiba Storage Media Manager” from
Product web site or App Store.
1. Make sure the CANVIO AeroCast is on.

On your iPhone/iPad or Android
™
device go to Settings/Wi-Fi®.
Click on and connect to the “Toshiba whdd xxxx”. The default password is
“12345678”.

Start the “Toshiba Storage Media Manager” app.
