Connect the drive to your computer
Install the software
This product is covered by a Three (3) Year Standard Limited warranty.
A copy of the warranty is included on the drive or can be viewed online at support.toshiba.com/warranty.
To connect the Canvio Desk External Hard Drive to your computer:
1. Connect the AC adapter to the drive and the wall outlet.
2. Connect the USB cable to the drive and the computer.
3. Turn on your computer.

1. Open Windows

Internet Explorer

and double-click on Setup.exe. 2. Click Continue to conrm you are using the most recent version
of the software.
5. Follow the on screen
instructions to install
the Backup software.
3. If a new version is available, you will be able to
download the updated version.
4. Highlight NTI Backup Now EZ 4 and
click Install.
