Connecting a VCR
Connect VIDE0/AUDIO IN jacks on the TV rear to the video/audio output jacks of a VCR, (Laser disk Player, Video
Camera, etc.) for playback of video material. The S-VIDEO jack is provided for direct S-video connection from VCR.
When the S-video cable is connected to the S-VIDEO IN jack, the VIDEO plug should not be connected.

To operate your TV and videoequipment properly, refer to the instruc-
tions furnished with the video equipment.
1 Turn the TV and VCR ON.

Press TV/VIDEO on the Remote Control
or on the -fV to select the appropriate
source.
Each time you press the button, TV,
VIDEO 1 or VIDEO 2 source will be
selected in order.
The selected source will be,displayed in
magenta.

Operate your VCR normally.
Notes:
• The VIDEO 2 IN jacks can also be used for connecting a second piece of
video equipment with videotaudio outputs. To view video from
equipment connected to the VIDEO 2 IN jacks, select "VIDFO 2".
• If you connect a monaural VCR, connect the audio output of the VCR to
the L/MONO jack on the TV.
• The S-VIDEO jack accepts separated lumina nce/chromlnan_e.(Y-C)
signals conforming to the NTSC standard.
