Cover Sheet
You can have your fax generate a cover sheet and send it as the last page of the
transmission. The cover sheet includes the date and time, the sender’s name and
number, and the receiver’s name and number if an automatic dialing number is used.
The total number of pages sent is indicated on the bottom.
To include a cover sheet with a transmission, follow these steps:
Factory setting: 2 (OFF)
Step Press these keys Comments
1 “COVER SHEET MODE” will
appear in the display.
2 Press “1” to turn the cover
sheet function on, or “2” to
turn it off.
3 If you pressed “1” in the
previous step, select a
message by entering a
number from 2 to 6 as shown
below, or enter 1 if you do not
want to include a message.
1: NO MESSAGE
2: URGENT
3: IMPORTANT
4: CONFIDENTIAL
5: PLS. DISTRIBUTE
6: PLS. CALL BACK
Note: The receiver's name must be programmed in either the Rapid Key or Speed
Dial function for it to appear on the Cover Sheet.
(example: URGENT)
