Instant skip / Locating a specific scene
Instant skip
Use this function to skip commercials while playback.
Press INSTANT SKIP during playback.
The time jumps to a point approx. 30 seconds later and playback re-
sumes.
NOTE:
With some DVD-Video, the Instant skip operation may not work.
Locating a specific scene
Specify the time recorded on the disc, chapter/track or title to play-
back.

Press PLAY MODE.
The play mode screen will appear.

Press or to select “Titles”, “Chapters/Track” or “Time”.
Titles: Select the title number to be played back.
Chapters: Select the chapter number to be played back.
Time: Input the time to be played back.

The screen above shows the display when “Time” is selected.

When “Time” is selected, input the time to be played back with the
numeric buttons. When “Titles” or “Chapters/Track” is selected,
press or to select the chapter/track number or title number.

Press ENTER.
The playback starts at the point you selected.
NOTES:
•For “repeat playback”, see “Title/Chapter repeat playback” (see page
34).
• Only “Track” and “Time” are available for Audio CD and DivX
®
CD.
